Description
Our Propeller shutter dogs are made from stainless steel, which offers excellent durability and corrosion resistance, making them suitable for outdoor applications, particulary for houses located near the coast, where exposure to salt water is a fact of daily life.
The classic design resembles a propeller or a spinning fan. The 4" lag is suitable for wood and masonry applications.
Shutter dogs are also known as shutter stays, or shutter hold backs. They are both decorative and functional. They are gravity weighted to hold them in position. One end is heavier than the other, and in the vertical position the top of the dog holds the shutter open.
