Our rice back plates measure 5-1/4" x 2-1/4". They are compatible with new bored doors and antique doors. They also fit antique keyed or privacy mortise locks; solid cast bronze with black relief; available in polished bronze and hand antiqued bronze.

Details
The rice pattern was originally produced by Yale and Towne of Stamford Connecticut around 1885. We collected the original antique hardware and remade the moulds. Casting is done in the original antique bronze using the same techniques used over 125 years ago. With time the bronze will acquire a statuary patina.
