Our Eastlake suite was first made by Lockwood Company around 1885. Each piece features a potted plant, some with broken leaf stems and some with stems intact.  Each piece is cast in bronze and finished by hand using the same techniques used over a century ago. The relief is japanned to set off the detailing. Noteworthy is that the doorknobs have detailing on the reverse side, and the hinge reveal that shows when the door is closed is also decorative. The unlacquered bronze will acquire a warm statuary patina with time. This series is compatible with tubular latches and traditional mortise locks.
