I always admired this rope doorknocker on my elderly neighbor's door. One day it was missing and she told me that teenagers had torn it from her door. I looked hard to find an original and when I did I reproduced it for her. She was so thankful that responded by baking me two pies! This doorknocker is the perfect size for most doors. I like the slim elegance. Our bright highly polished unlacquered brass US3A will darken with time or can be polished.  Our hand antiqued finish US7 looks like it has been exposed to the elements for a while and will continue to age over time.
